  2. To Install this Program...
  3. 1. Unzip all the files (4) to a directory called ASTROW on your hard disk.
  4. 2. Start Windows.
  5. 3. Go to The Program Manager or an equivalent program.
  6. 4. Choose from Files menu, Run...
  7. 5. Type A:SETUP or B:SETUP depending on the disk you are installing from.
  8. 6. Then delete the following files used by SETUP.EXE
  9.    MSCOMSTF.DLL
  10.    MSCUISTF.DLL
  11.    MSDETCT2.INC
  12.    MSDETSTF.DLL
  13.    MSINSSTF.DLL
  14.    MSSHLSTF.DLL
  15.    MSUILSTF.DLL
  16.    SETUPAPI.INC
  17.    SETUP.EXE
  18.    SETUP.LST
  19.    ASTROBB.MST
  20.    _MSTEST.EXE
  21.  
  22. If After you start ASTRO for Windows and View a Graphic Wheel and you
  23. see strange characters or the Windows WingDings font, do the following.
  24. 1. Go to the Windows Control Panel.
  25. 2. Click on Fonts.
  26. 3. See if AstGlyphs is present.
  27. 4. if it is not present, Click on Add.
  28. 5. Select the directory ASTROW
  29. 6. Add the Font AstGlyphs
  30.  
  31. If SETUP.EXE and it's related files are not present. Here is how to
  32. install the program.
  33. 1. Create a directory called ASTROW. Unzip all the files into this directory.
  34. 2. Start Windows.
  35. 3. Go to The Program Manager or an equivalent program.
  36. 4. Choose from Files menu, New..., Choose Program Group,
  37.    Type ASTRO For Windows.
  38. 5. Choose from Files menu, New..., Choose Program Item,
  39.    Type "ASTRO For Windows" for the description, Type
  40.    "C:\ASTROW\ASTROW.EXE" for the Program and type "C:\ASTROW"
  41.    for the directory.
  42. 6. Choose from Files menu, New..., Choose Program Item,
  43.    Type "ASTRO Documentation" for the description, Type
  44.    "WRITE.EXE C:\ASTROW\ASTROW.WRI" for the Program and type
  45.    "C:\ASTROW" for the directory.
  46. 7. Choose from Files menu, New..., Choose Program Item,
  47.    Type "ASTRO Help" for the description, Type
  48.    "WINHELP.EXE C:\ASTROW\ASTROW.HLP" for the Program and type
  49.    "C:\ASTROW" for the directory.
  50. 8. Choose from Files menu, New..., Choose Program Item,
  51.    Type "ASTRO Registration" for the description, Type
  52.    "WRITE.EXE C:\ASTROW\REGISTER.WRI" for the Program and type
  53.    "C:\ASTROW" for the directory.
  54. 9. Open Notepad, type the following.
  55. [Directories]
  56. Main=C:\ASTROW
  57. Data=C:\ASTROW
  58. DB=C:\ASTROW
  59. Help=C:\ASTROW
  60. User=C:\ASTROW
  61. 10. Save the file to ASTROW.INI in your windows directory.
  62. 11. Go to Windows Control Panel, and choose fonts. Select Add,
  63.     Choose ASTROW for the directory. Pick the AstGlyphs font. Or if you
  64.     prefer go to the ATM Control Panel and Install the AstGlyphs there.
